Developed in 1992 Mid-South Metallurgical has applied a unique atmosphere heat treating process to meet the high expectations and quality requirements demanded by a global leader in hydraulic pumps and components. Special handling and fixturing during the carburizing and hardening process provide excellent dimensional control and near distortion free results. Due to the critical role these components play in military, heavy construction, and mining operations, it is essential these components are processed and handled with extreme care. Careful handling prevents parts from being nicked, cracked, or dented throughout the entire heat treat process.
